Job Summary Reporting to the Administrator, the Business Development Lead is responsible for the sales, marketing, and business development of the agency by networking and connecting with healthcare facilities, physicians, clinics, and eldercare facilities to generate sales referrals for home care solutions. They will coordinate and manage sales within a defined geographic area and ensure consistent, profitable growth in sales revenues through assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating local marketing & business opportunities.
Responsibilities
Develops a sales and marketing plan
Plans and creates business development opportunities
Follows the Qualicare sales system to promote Qualicare services
Conducts a minimum of 35 sales calls per week
Establishes working rapport with health care professionals and potential referral sources within a designated territory
Identifies new business opportunities and creates and builds proposals
Manages sales accounts and meets financial targets with respect to sales and business development opportunities
Provides regular weekly updates to Administrator
Meets minimum weekly marketing goals such as but not exclusively:
70-75% of weekly time outside office marketing/networking (3.5 days).
Conducts a minimum of 30 Face to Face/Zoom/Phone (FTF/Z/P) marketing calls/week
Drives strong diversity of marketing activities (Stand-ups, In-Services, Networking Groups & Socials/Industry mixers)
Spends 80-90% of marketing time with Big 5/Top 20 accounts
Qualifications
Computer proficiency - Excel, Word, PowerPoint, CRM databases
Familiarity with social media platforms
Documented experience or previous experience
Has a vehicle with a valid driver’s license and car insurance
Strong time management and planning skills
Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
