    Schedule: Primary shift is Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM. Some Saturday and Sunday morning hours may be required. Hours may adjust during summer months to accommodate changes in residents’ schedules.

    Position Summary Clark Quality Care LLC is seeking a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) to serve as the primary Direct Support Professional (DSP) in a small residential group home for youth. This role combines direct care responsibilities with behavioral and mental health support. The QMHP will provide daily supervision, implement treatment and behavior support plans, and help maintain a safe, structured, and supportive environment for residents.

    Responsibilities

    Provide direct supervision and care to youth in the group home.

    Implement and support Individual Service Plans (ISP) and behavior support plans.

    Provide behavioral guidance, emotional support, and crisis intervention when needed.

    Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including hygiene, meals, laundry, and room upkeep.

    Prepare meals, assist with homework, and facilitate structured activities and routines.

    Transport residents to appointments, school activities, and community outings when required.

    Complete progress notes, behavioral documentation, and incident reports as required.

    Complete quarterly reviews and required documentation, including uploading reports into WAMS when applicable.

    Monitor residents’ emotional and behavioral well-being and communicate concerns to management and the treatment team.

    Maintain required program documentation and assist with regulatory compliance.

    Help maintain a structured, therapeutic, and family-like environment in the home.

    Qualifications

    Must meet Virginia DBHDS requirements for a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP).

    Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.

    Experience working with children or adolescents with behavioral or mental health needs preferred.

    Requirements

    Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.

    CPR and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain).

    Ability to pass required background checks for working with youth.

    Ability to remain calm and professional during behavioral or crisis situations.
