About the Role:
Join Safe Space Residential as a Qualified Mental Health Professional, where you will play a vital role in providing compassionate care to individuals in need. Our team is dedicated to fostering a supportive environment that promotes mental wellness and personal growth.
Responsibilities:
Connecting clients to resources in the community.
Provide direct therapeutic services, including individual and group sessions with clients.
Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care.
Document client interactions and maintain accurate records in compliance with regulations.
Educate clients and families on mental health issues and coping strategies.
Facilitate crisis intervention and support during challenging situations.
Engage in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
Requirements:
Current licensure as a mental health professional in Virginia.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting.
Strong understanding of mental health disorders and treatment modalities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
