Are you just starting your career and are looking for an entry-level position with no nights and weekends required? We are seeking a Human Resources Assistant at a local, family-oriented company. This is a part-time position that offers great benefits, such as matching 401K and paid vacation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Assisting HR with the process of recruitment, including vetting candidates, assisting with interviews and employment contracts
• Supporting internal and external inquiries and requests related to the HR department
• Compiling and maintaining paper, digital and electronic employee records
• Assisting with the documentation of employee compensation and benefits
• Supporting HR-related training programs,
• Entering employee data into computer database
• Coordinating logistics for new hire orientations
• Writing and submitting reports on general HR activities
• Overseeing HR events
• Continuously learn the latest HR best practices to improve workplace efficiency
• Other duties as assigned
