    Aaran Therapy Center is seeking a Qualified Supervising Professional (QSP) to provide clinical oversight for our Minnesota EIDBI services. This role is ideal for a licensed clinical professional who wants to support children with autism spectrum disorder and related conditions, mentor EIDBI staff, guide treatment quality, and help families receive culturally responsive care.

    Position Summary

    The QSP is responsible for clinical supervision, treatment oversight, staff direction, Individual Treatment Plan review, caregiver support, documentation quality, and compliance with Minnesota DHS EIDBI standards.

    This position requires someone who meets Minnesota DHS QSP qualifications, including being employed by an EIDBI provider agency, working within licensed scope of practice, and meeting the required autism-related experience, training, or graduate coursework standards.

    Key Responsibilities

    Provide clinical oversight for EIDBI services delivered by Level I, Level II, and Level III providers.

    Develop, review, approve, and monitor Individual Treatment Plans.

    Ensure services are medically necessary, person-centered, family-centered, and based on CMDE recommendations.

    Provide required clinical supervision and document supervision frequency in accordance with DHS requirements.

    Beginning January 1, 2026, ensure at least one hour of clinical supervision for every 16 hours of direct treatment, unless an exception applies under DHS policy.

    Ensure observation and direction services in the ITP reflect each child’s specific clinical need.

    Coach and mentor staff through case consultation, observation, feedback, and competency development.

    Support caregiver training and family participation in treatment planning.

    Maintain timely, accurate documentation that supports authorization, progress monitoring, and compliance.

    Help ensure all services align with Minnesota DHS EIDBI Benefit Policy Manual requirements.

    Required Qualifications

    Applicants must meet Minnesota DHS QSP standards, including:

    Current qualifying professional licensure or credentials under Minnesota DHS EIDBI requirements.

    Ability to work within the scope of professional license and practice.

    At least 2,000 hours of supervised clinical experience or training in assessment or treatment of people with ASD or related conditions, or equivalent graduate-level coursework in ASD diagnostics, ASD developmental and behavioral treatment strategies, and typical child development.

    Ability to complete or maintain required EIDBI enrollment, affiliation, and assurance documentation, including current QSP assurance requirements when applicable.

    Preferred Qualifications

    BCBA, LBA, LICSW, LPCC, LMFT, Licensed Psychologist, APRN, physician, developmental pediatrician, behavioral pediatrician, or other DHS-recognized qualifying professional.

    Prior EIDBI experience.

    Experience supervising autism therapy staff.

    Strong understanding of ITPs, CMDE recommendations, progress monitoring, and caregiver training.

    Experience serving culturally and linguistically diverse families.
