Job Summary

Quality Appliance of Faribault is looking for a lead delivery and installation team member. Someone who can drive a small box truck, and after a short training period, be able to install household appliances from start to finish, ranging from washers and dryers, to kitchen appliances such as dishwashers and refrigerators. As a lead crew member, you would work alongside another installation member as they would assist you in lifting the appliances, and you would coordinate as a team to most efficiently complete an installation.

This position is right for the person who enjoys being active in their workplace, is mechanically inclined, and can be adaptable to different environments. Our customers love to get to know our delivery staff, as many of our shoppers return for business for years. It is a great opportunity to make connections while performing a service, and at times you will be someone's hero as you will be saving their holiday by getting them a brand new oven just in time for thanksgiving.

Responsibilities:

Deliver/install a wide variety of items to different addresses and different routes

Follow route and be timely to scheduled appointments

Load, unload, prepare, inspect and install appliances.

Follow DOT regulations and safety standards

Must be able to lift and move a minimum of 50 to 75 lbs.

Demonstrate willingness to learn and problem solve

Be a leader

Qualifications:

Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Ability to drive box truck (or willingness to learn)

Excellent organizational skills

Must be able to work independently

Must have excellent time management skills

Ability to communicate effectively and maintain effective relationships with current customers and vendors
