We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Production Quality Control (QC) team member to help ensure the quality, safety, and consistency of fresh produce during warehouse operations. This role plays a key part in monitoring production lines, inspecting products, and maintaining food safety and quality standards throughout the handling and packaging process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect produce for quality, size, ripeness, and defects during receiving, processing, and packaging.
- Monitor production lines to ensure compliance with food safety, company, and customer specifications.
- Document quality checks and report deviations or issues to supervisors.
- Verify that packaging, labeling, and coding meet required standards.
- Assist in maintaining records for audits and traceability.
- Communicate with production and warehouse teams to resolve quality concerns.
- Help implement and uphold sanitation and safety practices in the facility.
Requirements:
- Experience in quality control or produce handling preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards (GMP, HACCP, etc.).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in cold environments and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer and recordkeeping skills.
- Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
Schedule:
Full-time; Monday – Saturday; 1st Shift – 5am - Finish & 2nd Shift 3:30pm - Finish
Pay Rate:
1st Shift - $16.50/hr
2nd Shift - $17.25/hr
