JC BestCare is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to oversee compliance, service quality, and continuous improvement across our HCBS programs. This role plays a critical part in ensuring adherence to Iowa HCBS rules, Medicaid waiver requirements, and internal quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and ensure compliance with Iowa HCBS and Medicaid waiver regulations
Conduct routine quality reviews of documentation, services, and staff practices
Perform frequent on-site visits to residential and community-based service locations
Identify compliance gaps and develop corrective action plans
Support audit readiness and participate in state, MCO, and internal reviews
Collaborate with leadership to improve service quality and operational consistency
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Social Work, Healthcare Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred)
Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance, compliance, or HCBS services
Strong knowledge and understanding of HCBS rules and provider requirements
Highly detail-oriented, organized, and analytical
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel frequently between service sites
