Summary:
LIVE is seeking a Quality Assurance Publishing Project Coordinator in a contingent role to serve in supporting publishing and documentation lifecycle activities. The position is responsible for applying quality assurance and internal control principles to publishing workflows, coordinating production and review activities, and ensuring all deliverables meet technical, accessibility, and customer requirements.
The Quality Assurance Publishing Project Coordinator ensures compliance with established lifecycle processes, publishing standards, and accessibility requirements, including Section 508 compliance, while delivering high quality, customer focused publishing support and project coordination services.
Essential Job Functions:
Apply internal control methodologies and quality assurance practices to publish and document lifecycle processes to ensure accuracy, consistency, compliance, and timely delivery of products.
Coordinate and manage publishing and documentation projects from intake through final release, including task scheduling, workflow tracking, and quality checkpoints.
Serve as a central point of coordination between authors, editors, technical staff, reviewers, and customers to ensure publishing requirements and delivery timelines are met.
Review draft and final publications for quality, formatting, accuracy, completeness, and adherence to organizational standards and publishing policies.
Perform quality assurance reviews of technical and non-technical content in accordance with Task 2.1.2 technical requirements.
Conduct Section 508 accessibility reviews and perform remediation activities to ensure all electronic documents and publications meet federal accessibility standards.
Utilize professional writing and publishing tools to format, edit, revise, and prepare publications for distribution in multiple formats.
Maintain quality tracking records, version control, and publish documentation in accordance with established lifecycle and records management procedures.
Identify risks, quality issues, and process gaps within publishing workflows and recommend corrective actions and process improvements.
Provide guidance and technical assistance to authors and project stakeholders regarding publishing standards, accessibility requirements, and quality expectations.
Ensure all customer requests, revisions, and publishing deliverables are addressed accurately and professionally with a strong focus on positive customer outcomes.
Support continuous improvement initiatives by evaluating publishing processes and contributing to the development of updated procedures and quality controls.
