Quality Assurance Technician -
Job Description Job Summary: The QA Line Tech, under the direction of the QA Coordinator, monitors all critical quality checkpoints in a timely manner and communicates results and all non compliance issues to the production Lead, production team and QA Manager. Responsible for collecting production samples for lab testing. Performs and logs all quality checks as outlined in Culinary Standard Operating Practices. Responsible for maintaining all QA Line Tech paperwork and databases. Verifies products are produced and packaged within specification. Initiates QA Holds when necessary.
Essential duties and responsibilities may include. but not limited to the following:
• The Quality Assurance and Food Safety Technician is responsible for ensuring food safety policies are being adhered to and product quality standards are being met in our Food Manufacturing Plant.
• Assist the front-line supervisory staff in ensuring adherence to GMP and HACCP program compliance.
• Ensure the manufacturing processes and facilities of the company meet quality standards with emphasis on product safety, sanitation, environmental awareness, and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure product quality through random on-floor quality checks; ensure the facility meet FDA standards by regular internal audits.
• Perform routine audits in the plant & warehouse to ensure that company standards are met.
• Responsible for HACCP records keeping, review, verification, and corrective actions. Updates or assists in the revisions of SOPs and specifications as required.
• Responsible for collecting and sending microbiological and chemical samples for lab test and verify that the results comply with the standards.
• Ensure supplier information updated, and the material received follows the company’s QA standards. Ensure finished product specification, microbiological and chemical integrity.
• Perform audits of the factory (i.e. daily pre-operational checks, internal audits, etc.).
• Conducts in-depth investigations to assist in resolving non-compliant products or practice, in a timely fashion and applies findings to improve the process.

• Must be able to accurately take instructions and keep records
• This position involves regular bending, stooping, twisting, and lifting.
• Required to stand on their feet, walk and perform repetitive tasks up to 12 hours per day
• Able to kneel or squat on an occasional basis and climb stairs on a frequent basis
• Use hands to grip, pinch, handle, reach, or feel on a frequent basis
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent computer skills including proficiency in MS Office
Location: Corona Ca.
Pay $20 hr.
Monday-Friday and some Saturdays
