Quality Assurance Specialist

Shoreview, MN | Contract (6 months, possibility to extend or get hired) | $27 - 31/hr

Konik is partnering with a well-established, employee-owned manufacturing company that supports a wide range of industrial and OEM customers. This position offers an opportunity to play a key role in maintaining and improving product quality, safety, and compliance at a fast-paced facility.

Quality Assurance Specialist Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement procedures to ensure product quality and safety standards.
• Conduct routine quality audits on the production floor.
• Assist in drafting SOPs and quality-related documentation.
• Coordinate third-party and internal quality system audits.
• Administer corrective and preventive action programs.
• Complete customer documentation such as First Articles, Control Plans, FMEAs, PPAPs, and Capability Studies.
• Ensure proper calibration of testing and measuring equipment.
• Drive improvements in site testing and inspection capabilities.
• Support management reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.

Quality Assurance Specialist Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in quality assurance or industrial manufacturing.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred (Quality Engineering or related field); equivalent experience considered.
• Strong knowledge of lean principles, ISO standards, and auditing practices.
• Skilled in root cause analysis (e.g., 5 Whys).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
