NEEDED: Quality Assurance Specialist

• Clinical Research Center

SCHEDULE: The Clinical Center hospital and Ambulatory Care Research Facility operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year (366 days during leap years) including holidays. 40 hours per week during normal business hours, Monday-Friday, excluding Federal holidays. However, work can run past business hours and flexibility will be needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree is required; master’s degree preferred. Certified Joint Commission Professional is highly desired.
• Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years’ full-time employment in a healthcare organization, to include demonstrated leadership, and TJC. Familiarity with operational, quality assurance, regulatory guidance, QA/compliance, and change control.

JOB DUTIES:

Support medical surgical supply/equipment procurement and distribution, biomedical equipment safety and maintenance, and provide a clean environment for patients, staff, and the public under the supervision of the MMESD Chief.
