JOB DESCRIPTION:
This position is responsible for creating, reviewing and executing test cases and other testing artifacts to ensure the accuracy and completeness of all test artifacts. Other responsibilities include coordinating testing, reports and tracks testing problems by providing reproducible test cases, works with other product team members to diagnose and recreate problems as well as prioritize and implement solutions and close problem reports. Additional responsibilities include scripting, data collection, and analysis according to the project plan schedule and ensuring adherence to standard practices and procedures.
Establish software test, verification, and validation guidelines and ensure their implementation through conducting design reviews for source code coming from internal and external sources
Work closely with the software development teams to ensure proper testing, verification and validation coverage
Work with internal and external software developers and testers to ensure software testing, verification, and validation deliverables are meeting expectations with respect to quality
Support continuous improvement through software test, verification, and validation metrics and ensure consistent visibility into those for every project executed
Perform in an Agile culture of testing, testing often and early by working in a closely integrated fashion with software developers as well as incrementally building up the verification test protocols that get informally executed along the progression of the project but formally documented at the end
Complying with policies and processes and ensure they are communicated, understood, implemented, and maintained at all levels of the organization
Demonstrating knowledge, skill and ability to model and positively communicates the company visions, values, priorities and target
QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to reason through complex requirements and create applicable test scenarios
Knowledge of testing web and mobile device applications on multiple OS and browsers
Knowledge of browser plugins/developer tools to assist in web app testing (view HTML, JavaScript, CSS)
Ability to write SQL queries to create test data and verify test results
Working knowledge of defect tracking systems (JIRA preferred)
Detail-oriented, organized and resourceful, and must have strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience with Selenium and/or Postman a plus
