Quality Cage Crafters is looking to hire 2-3 passionate chinchilla experts for writing educational content and blogs that will be used to educate current and future chinchilla owners & guardians as well as be an author in our future Chinchilla Care Book. Blogs will be posted on www.qualitycage.com as well as shared via our social media and email newsletters. We currently have over 300,000 visitors per month to our website and we would put bio and links at the bottom of each blog written.
Our mission is to equip Small Pet Guardians with the right equipment, knowledge, and community to ensure a longer and more fulfilling life for pets.
Our goal with this job is for you to write content for Chinchilla owners for our blog, social media, and email newsletter. The blog content will later be turned into an illustrated book that will be a free product given to Quality Cage customers in hopes to get more people wanting to further their chinchilla care education.

BLOGGER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Research industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews, and studies)
Write clear & engaging content to educate chinchilla owners and/or promote our products (4 blogs per month)
Proofread and edit blog posts before sending them to the editor
Submit work to editors for input and approval
Suggest ideas for design teams to illustrate articles
Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic
Promote content on social media
Identify customers' needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics
BLOGGER REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledge and experience with chinchillas
Experience doing research using multiple sources
Injecting your personality into your writing & telling stories
Ability to meet deadlines
Excellent writing and editing skills in English
Positive attitude, empathy, coachable spirit NOTE:
This will be an independent contractor position. We are offering $800 per month for four researched & well-written educational blogs, and ask that you promote those blogs on your website and/or social media. We will also promote you as a writer via bio and link to your portfolio with each blog. You will also be listed as a co-author for the book we will be compiling, publishing, and distributing to chinchilla owners.
In addition, you'll get to work directly with the founder, Josh, and have exposure to the rest of the team, learning how to run and manage an e-commerce store, manufacture products, and manage a company. You'll be able to work 100% remotely, with a small team that values flexibility, autonomy, and respects your personal time.
