    ADMINISTRATOR

    Nature of Work: Under the supervision of the COO, performs administrative work of moderate difficulty; performs related duties as assigned. Administrator is responsible for overseeing the Front Desk and Reception area and is the first point of contact to the public.

    Typical Duties (Illustrative Only) ❖ Oversees Front Desk & Reception area; ❖ Answers the main telephone; ❖ Directs walk-in traffic to appropriate Department/personnel; ❖ Oversees record management systems and databases; ❖ Maintains employee files in accordance with QC policies and applicable laws, statutes, and regulations; ❖ Coordinates and schedules functions, meetings, and travel; ❖ Creates, processes, and distributes documents and correspondence; ❖ May enroll employees into benefits programs; ❖ Prepares and maintains records and reports; ❖ Assists with special projects as assigned.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Considerable Knowledge of: ❖ Records Management; ❖ Business English, spelling, and math ❖ Standard office practices, procedures, and equipment; ❖ QC policies, practices, and rules; ❖ State and Federal laws governing QC business practices.

    Working Knowledge of: ❖ Principles and practices of business administration; ❖ Principles and practices of disability services administration. Considerable skill in: ❖ Use of computers and currently available software for word processing, spreadsheets and databases; ❖ Records management Ability to: ❖ Perform challenging administrative functions with speed and accuracy ❖ Meet deadlines and maintain workflow; ❖ Establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, other agencies, and the public; ❖ Follow written and verbal instructions; ❖ Communicate effectively verbally and writing.

    Minimum Qualifications : Two years of progressively responsible administrative or clerical experience; Or any equivalent combination of education training, or experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
