QC Incoming (Mechanical Inspector)

About the Role

Seeking an experienced QC Incoming / Mechanical Inspector. This role is responsible for inspecting incoming materials and components to ensure they meet purchase order requirements, engineering drawings, and quality standards.

This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented inspector who enjoys hands-on measurement work and collaborating with quality and manufacturing teams.

Key Responsibilities

Perform incoming inspection of materials and components

Use precision inspection tools including:

Micrometers

Vernier calipers

Ring and plug gauges

Dial indicators

Optical comparators

Review and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications

Apply Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)

Perform in-house calibration of measurement equipment and coordinate with external calibration labs

Ensure materials meet quality, engineering, and military specification requirements

Work independently while maintaining strong attention to detail

Experience with Keyence IM-X1000 Image Dimension Measurement System is a plus.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent

5+ years of QC inspection experience in a manufacturing environment

3+ years of hands-on experience with mechanical inspection equipment

Strong understanding of GD&T

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)

U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder (required due to project requirements)
