Job Description The Quality Control Inspector plays a critical role in maintaining high standards across all managed properties. This position is field-based, requiring regular on-site inspections to ensure properties meet company expectations for safety, cleanliness, functionality, and guest readiness. The ideal candidate is disciplined, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently while providing thorough documentation and actionable insights. This role ensures accountability and consistent quality across the portfolio.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive property inspections on a recurring and as-needed basis
Identify maintenance, cleanliness, safety, and wear-and-tear issues and generate timely, clear reports
Log and track deficiencies; initiate and follow up on corrective work orders
Evaluate vendor and staff workmanship for consistency with company standards
Review and verify completion of cleaning and turnover tasks before guest or tenant move-in
Ensure compliance with established property condition guidelines and local code standards
Support onboarding of new properties with initial condition reports and punch list generation
Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to resolve escalated issues or quality disputes
Assist in refining standard inspection checklists and protocols based on seasonal and portfolio needs
Provide written feedback and documentation to internal systems (e.g., Google Drive, Streamline, etc.)
Qualifications
Extreme attention to detail and an ability to spot inconsistencies others might miss
High standards for presentation, cleanliness, and safety
Comfort with independent, field-based work and decision-making
Ability to manage multiple inspections across properties with urgency and accuracy
Skilled in documentation, data entry, and checklist-based assessment
Strong communication skills when interacting with vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams
Proficiency in using apps or platforms for photo documentation, inspection logs, and internal tracking
Unwavering integrity and professionalism in all interactions
Previous experience in property management, hospitality, inspection, or facilities operations
Ability to read and understand checklists, maintenance records, and service reports
Clean driving record and reliable transportation (travel between properties required)
