York Employment is hiring on behalf of a leading distributor of décor products!We are currently seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector to join a dynamic team and support quality initiatives across all departments.Position Overview:The Quality Assurance Inspector is responsible for conducting product, dock, and system audits to ensure compliance with established quality standards. This role plays a key part in maintaining product excellence, identifying non-conformances, and driving continuous improvement throughout the organization.Key Responsibilities:Conduct random inspections of pulled products to verify:Compliance with quality standardsCleanliness and absence of scratches/marks (per training guides)Correct packaging, labeling, and storage practicesPerform dock audits to ensure outgoing shipments meet quality expectationsIdentify and document non-conforming products or processesRaise and close out Corrective Action Requests (CARs) during internal auditsApprove and document reworked products, ensuring instructions are clear and records maintainedIssue Non-Conformance Reports, CARs, or Concern Reports to support continuous improvementFollow and enforce quarantine procedures for non-compliant inventoryAssess and determine the quality status of quarantined goodsAnalyze warranty claims, returns, scrap, and rejectsConduct dimensional studies on products when necessaryPerform internal system audits and report findingsFlag any environmental or safety concerns observed during auditsReport poor housekeeping or other operational inefficiencies in the warehouseQualifications:Solid understanding of product specifications, systems, and processesStrong ability to recognize non-conforming products and apply quality standardsGood hand-eye coordination and basic technical aptitudePrevious experience in quality assurance or conducting auditsStrong communication skills, both written and verbalBackground in quality control preferredIf you're detail-oriented, process-driven, and passionate about maintaining high-quality standards, we encourage you to apply today!Apply now with York Employment to take the next step in your QA career.
