The Quality Control Manager (QCM) ensures that all projects meet applicable quality and regulatory standards. This role oversees quality control processes, conducts inspections, and implements corrective actions as needed. With a strong knowledge of federal construction regulations and safety requirements, the QCM maintains an effective quality management system, resolves issues, and ensures consistently high-quality project outcomes. This position is vital to delivering successful projects and achieving overall project objectives. Responsibilities: • Develop, implement, and enforce the project Quality Control Plan in accordance with the Army Corps’ Three Phases of Control. • Verify that all submittals, plans, and specifications comply with contract requirements, and oversee evaluations and testing conducted by approved personnel or facilities. • Provide documented assessments and implement corrective actions to uphold high-quality standards and reduce the occurrence of recurring issues. Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: • OSHA 30-hour • USACE CQM Certification • Experience with Procore and RMS • Proficient with Word, Excel, and PDF • Proven experience as a QCM on similar federal projects • In-depth knowledge of quality control procedures and legal standards • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills • Excellent organizational and leadership abilities Additional Qualifying Factors: As a condition of employment, candidates must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening (following an accepted offer) and have satisfactory background check results. For positions tied to specific contracts, candidates may also be required to obtain the necessary security clearance and have the ability to access military installations. Working Conditions: The job is performed in a combination of office and outdoor site locations. Is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and loud noise.
