    This is a Full-Time, in-person employment position.

    What Your Role Looks Like:

    Checking the fit and fabrication of welded structural material for accurate layout and weld patterns

    Ensuring all product meets the proper tolerances for the intended application with the proper finish coat applied (ex: Prime paint, Finish Paint, Galvanized, etc.)

    When required, accompany Project Managers out to project locations to verify product related issues if they occur and identify corrective measures to make.

    Tracking all project material as it's received in the production plant for specific projects and keeping that material organized.

    Requirements:

    Strong understanding of different welding procedures.

    Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.

    Knowledge of safety protocols and best practices in a fabrication environment.

    Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

    Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    High school diploma or equivalent; CWI certificate is a Major Plus

    Strong work ethic and commitment to quality and fine details

    Have the ability to adapt when jobs require

    Experience with finish grinding of welded materials - specifically finish grinding of rails in relation to NOMA designations

    Past experience with acetylene torch or plasma cutter is a plus+

    Excel Skills is Required.

    What Success Looks Like:

    Complete, error free product is received on site with proper tracking throughout the production process.

    Work is not returned due to fabrication or finish error

    Material is not missing or stolen for a different project.
