We are seeking a new Quality Director for an established Dietary Supplement manufacturer. The Quality Director oversees all QA/QC activities involved in the manufacturing of dietary supplements. This position ensures that production complies with industry standards and regulatory requirements, helping to maintain product safety, effectiveness, and overall quality.

Responsibilities:
- Establish, implement, and maintain a robust Quality Management System that aligns with cGMP, FDA regulations, and other applicable standards.
- Evaluate the performance of the QMS and introduce improvements or updates as necessary.
- Coordinate and support regulatory and third-party audits.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies and oversight organizations.
- Manage and develop the Quality Assurance and Quality Control teams.
- Encourage a culture focused on quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Partner with other departments to advance company-wide quality initiatives.
- Oversee the creation, implementation, and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Identify opportunities for quality and process improvements and implement corrective actions when needed.
- Assess, qualify, and monitor suppliers and vendors to ensure adherence to established quality standards.
- Develop and manage supplier quality agreements.
- Supervise testing programs for raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products to confirm compliance with quality specifications.
- Review quality documentation and authorize product batch release once all requirements are met.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Microbiology, or a related scientific field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 7+ years of experience in quality assurance within dietary supplement or pharmaceutical manufacturing environments.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Thorough understanding of cGMP requirements, FDA regulations, and industry quality standards.
Compensation: $145,000 - $165,000 plus benefits,
