    Job Description

    Position Summary:

    The Quality Engineer role supports quality services and site, to plan, direct, and implement Syntegon’s Quality management programs and to ensure a positive, safe, healthy, and incident-free work environment.

    Essential Functions:

    • Responsible for supporting the site's Business Management System (QMS, EMS, OHSMS), writing procedures, processes and instructions.
    • Lead and undertake audits across all areas of the business as well as across the supply chain.
    • Facilitate organization and leadership development efforts to address the root cause of quality related issues.
    • Manage key quality processes (i.e., document control, auditing, non-conforming).
    • Support quality systems by collecting and providing information to internal and external customers
    • Interact with external customers/suppliers on issues such as complaints, improvement plans, documentation, returned material authorization (RMA), etc
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in engineering/manufacturing or equivalent experience
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar quality role.
    • Excellent communication skills including written, verbal, listening, and customer service skills with the ability to effectively communicate with and work well with others in order to manage projects, meetings.
    • Familiar with using various office equipment, computers and various programs including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, networking and cloud-based systems.
    • Have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence people and drive change

    Preferred Requirements:

    • The Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification beneficial
    • External auditor certification ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001 highly desirable
    • Familiarity with risk assessment methodologies and incident investigation techniques
    • Has the ability to deliver internal training effectively

    Additional Information

    The expected compensation range for this position is between $80,000 - $110,000 annually.

    Compensation for roles at Syntegon varies depending on a wide array of non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, degree/credentials, relevant skill set, and level of relevant experience.
