We're hiring a Quality Engineer to join our team in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Dayton-Granger is a privately owned, third-generation manufacturer with over 82 years in business and an average employee tenure of 10 years. We support long-term aerospace programs for military, commercial, and general aviation customers, while continuing to develop new products for emerging markets.

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related Engineering field
4+ years of experience as a Quality Engineer in a manufacturing environment
Strong analytical and statistical skills to collect, synthesize, and evaluate data
Hands-on experience with inspection tools (CMMs, micrometers, calipers)
Proficiency with root cause analysis tools (5-Why, Fishbone diagrams, etc.)
Experience with sampling plans (attribute, variable, sequential)
Familiarity with AS9100 and ISO 9001 quality standards
Proven ability to coordinate MRB activities and support internal audits
Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work cross-functionally
Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Lean Six Sigma certification
Experience in aerospace, defense, or other regulated manufacturing industries
Knowledge of FAA or EASA compliance requirements
Experience leading FMEA activities and establishing quality KPIs
Ability to mentor and train others on quality tools and processes
Provide quality engineering support to manufacturing, ensuring consistent quality practices
Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective actions
Analyze inspection results and recommend process improvements
Develop and manage sampling plans and measurement system analysis (MSA)
Coordinate and lead Material Review Board (MRB) activities
Participate in Engineering Review Board (ERB) meetings to assess design and process changes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve customer complaints
Maintain quality documentation in accordance with DG's QMS and AS9100
Support audit activities and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Follow all safety procedures and perform additional duties as assigned
