    We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Production Assembly Technician who enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in building high-quality products as part of a growing team.

    Job Description

    This position is responsible for the auditing of customer orders and/or items and incoming supplier materials to ensure their conformance to specifications, and the assembly of production-ready product “First Articles” to be used for work orders.

    A high level of product and process inspection and documentation for the quality checks will be required. A high degree of accuracy is required to ensure a conformance measurement KPI for the facility.

    This position may require rotating among various locations in the facility to provide an appropriate sampling of products and materials for assembly and inspection.

    Summary of major responsibilities:

    · Inspect, identify, and catalog any quality defects or issues using the standards drawn from training, specifications, and other provided reference material.

    · Perform visual inspections as required.

    · Be able to perform all assembly, processing, and shipping functions of a work order.

    · Knowledgeable of quality specifications related to all products.

    · Assemble “First Article” units for production use including identification, troubleshooting, and solution-seeking for errors or design conflicts present

    · Contribute improvement ideas to the Design Engineering team.

    Requirements and skills:

    · An associate’s degree or greater in a hard science, or current student expecting to graduate within the following semester

    · Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and desire to be part of a busy office support team

    · Proficient in Excel, Word, Windows, Outlook, Google, etc.

    · Ability to type 30 words per minute · Job Type: Full-time

    · Pay: From $22.00 per hour
