Job Description
The Project Quality Engineer I is assigned to project teams to provide technical direction and engineering vendor management on upgrades to existing attractions. Duties include technical leadership and subject matter expertise in a variety of Ride and Show system disciplines, auditing of third party design and engineering, execution of on- and off-site acceptance test procedures, and ownership of project documentation compliance.
The Project Quality Engineer I is responsible for ensuring all project work conforms with ASTM F24 Committee guidelines and compliant with applicable codes, regulations and standards including: AISC, ASME, ASTM, ANSI, AWS, JIC, NEC, and OSHA, among others. They may also provide guidance and oversight on these standards for the other Ride and Show Programs (RSP) team members.
This role has exposure to multiple different ride and show systems spanning multiple decades, each with its unique fun and challenges.
This role has a 5-day workweek, with a minimum of 4 days onsite. The role may include night and/or weekend work only when necessary.

Salary range: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00
Qualifications
Education & Experience
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, Technology) or equivalent. Advanced degrees preferred.
Minimum 2 years of experience in mechanical or quality engineering, preferably in theme parks or equivalent combination of education and experience.
