PHD Machining is Hiring – Quality Engineer (On-Site | $120K–$140K | Bay Area)

We’re growing—and we’re looking for a hands-on Quality Engineer who can own both the shop floor quality process and our AS9100/ISO 9001 system setup and maintenance.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a precision CNC machining environment, is fluent in Zeiss Calypso, and takes pride in writing clear, step-by-step work instructions for every job.

What you’ll do:

• Develop and maintain our AS9100/ISO 9001 QMS

• Write complete process instructions for all jobs

• Perform FAI per AS9102 and operate Zeiss Calypso CMM

• Lead internal audits, documentation control, and continuous improvement

• Be the quality voice for aerospace, medical, and defense parts
