Responsibilities: • Provide the cost estimate of the construction up front and accurately control the budget throughout the project • Acquire the appropriate licenses and permits from the corresponding authorities and ensure construction is up to code • Collaborate with clients, engineers, construction managers, and architects to determine the needed resources and scope of work, including necessary materials and expected labor required • Put organizational systems into place to ensure tools, vehicles, and equipment are well-maintained, and schedule maintenance if needed • Inform key stakeholders of the status of the project by producing regular progress reports Qualifications: • Construction or project management software experience is a significant plus • Strong communication skills, leadership skills, organizational skills, problem-solving skills, and time-management skills • OSHA 30 certification • In-depth knowledge of the construction industry and entire building process, including building codes, blueprints, permits, construction equipment, material resources, construction processes, and project management principles • Five years of previous experience as a construction project manager required • Three years of project management experience in hotel renovation required Compensation: $60,000 yearly
