    Job Title: Quality Inspector (4 day work week)

    Company Overview: Aerospace Manufacturing

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure high productivity and quality standards.
    • Ensure that productivity and quality measures are met for customer products.
    • Communicate effectively with relevant departments and individuals.
    • Organize and execute inspection work assignments efficiently.
    • Assist and guide operation personnel in addressing Quality Assurance concerns.
    • Work with the manufacturing team to resolve issues related to Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and rework solutions.
    • Record inspection and test data on routers, inspection sheets, and logs, maintaining traceability per the Quality manual.
    • Interpret engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, or formulas and collaborate with the team to resolve discrepancies.
    • Utilize various inspection equipment, including but not limited to Micrometers, Calipers, Surface Plate, Height Gages, CMM, etc.
    • Troubleshoot problems and discrepancies in the inspection process.
    • Recommend and implement modifications to existing quality or production standards for optimum quality within equipment capability.
    • Conduct internal audits to support the quality system.

    Qualification Requirements:

    • 3 to 7 years of experience in Quality in the aerospace industry.
    • Working knowledge of inspection equipment, including Micrometers, Calipers, CMM, and other tools.
    • Physical ability to stand, walk, push, pull, reach overhead, and bend. Ability to exert force occasionally and frequently.
    • Constant use of handheld inspection equipment, including Micrometers, Calipers, CMM, and others.
    • Visual acuity to read machine dial gauges, blueprints, and precision measuring instruments. Ability to pass color vision tests.
    • Working conditions include a normal inspection environment with occasional exposure to high noise levels, physical hazards, and airborne particles.
