Quality Inspector @ Bloomington, CA (1099 Contractor)
Responsibilities:
Conduct visual inspections of cosmetic products at a logistics center
Perform external packaging checks on sampled units
Carry out limited internal visual verification per SKU
Identify transit-related defects (e.g., leakage, freezing signs, phase separation)
Replace security stickers and repack inspected units
Report findings according to client inspection manuals providing timely, detailed reports and photographic evidence as requested
On-site presence required with ability to manage multiple SKUs within defined timelines
The ideal would be to have 2 inspectors for this position, due to the number of jobs in the area.
Technical & Industry Experience:
Minimum 1–3 years conducting quality inspections.
Cosmetics, personal care, beauty products, or consumer goods
Experience working in logistics centers or warehouses is preferred
Must be able to use MS Word and Excel to submit documents and reports within the time specified (usually within 24 hours after job completion)
Ability to work well in independent and group problem-solving situations
Ability to maintain a positive, professional disposition when adapting to occasional disruptions and unexpected events
Flexibility in scheduling

Project Duration:
CURRENT PROJECT: Around TWO months (Monday - Friday).
Note: This is a 1099 contract role – project duration may vary based on client needs
Shift Hours:
CURRENT PROJECT: 7 hrs. onsite + 2 hrs. report time.
Note: As a 1099 contractor, project schedules may vary depending on site availability
