Quality Inspector @ Colorado Springs, CO (1099 Contractor)
Responsibilities:
Verify electronic scrap materials against provided documentation
Check part numbers, serial numbers, quantities, and general condition
Ensure accuracy and completeness of inspection records
Provide clear, timely inspection reports with photographic evidence
Follow client-specific verification and traceability requirements
High availability and flexible job scheduling preferred
Ability to lift and move boxes and electronic equipment as required during inspections (25lbs aprox)
Technical & Industry Experience:
1-3 years basic quality inspection experience in Electronics Technician / Quality Inspector / IT Hardware Technician.
Candidates should have 1–3 years of experience in quality control, warehouse inspections, or similar operational roles
Exposure to electronic scrap or end-of-life IT equipment inspections is a plus, but not mandatory
Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately verify part numbers, serial numbers, and quantities
Familiarity with networking hardware, electronic components, or IT equipment
Experience with inventory verification and documentation review
Ability to use MS Word and Excel to submit inspection reports and photo evidence within required timelines (typically within 24 hours after job completion)
Ability to work independently and follow detailed client instructions
Flexibility in scheduling and availability for short-notice inspections.
