    Position Overview:
    Dayton-Granger, Inc. is seeking a skilled Quality Inspector to join our aerospace manufacturing team in Fort Lauderdale, FL. In this role, you'll perform inspections on in-process and finished assemblies, sub-assemblies, and components to ensure they meet rigorous quality standards. Using precision tools such as calipers, micrometers, and height gauges, you'll verify critical dimensions, review blueprints and engineering changes, and maintain accurate inspection records. Your attention to detail will directly contribute to the production of advanced avionics products for commercial, general aviation, and military programs.

    What You'll Do (Responsibilities):

    • Inspect in-process and finished parts and assemblies
    • Use calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other measuring tools
    • Read blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
    • Document inspection results and identify nonconforming parts
    • Ensure compliance with AS9100 and ISO quality standards
    • Support a safe and quality-focused manufacturing environment
    • Assist with additional quality-related tasks as assigned by management
    • Follow all DG safety procedures as per company policies and per the Facility Manager/Safety Director

    What We're Looking For (Minimum Required Qualifications):

    • High School Diploma or GED
    • Minimum (1) year of Quality Inspection experience in manufacturing
    • Experience using measuring instruments and inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
    • Ability to read blueprints and follow procedures
    • Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
    • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn and cross-train
    • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs

    Preferred Experience (Nice To Have):

    • Aerospace, defense, automotive, or medical device manufacturing
    • Electrical or electromechanical assemblies
    • Mechanical assemblies or machined components
    • Composite materials and structures
    • Paint or surface finishing processes
