    Job Description

    Job Summary:

    We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Intern to join our team the Summer 2025. The ideal candidate will be a sophomore (or higher) student with a strong understanding of engineering principles and processes.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Learn and understand the principles of plastic injection molding processes: This involves gaining knowledge of material properties, machine operation, process parameters, and quality control procedures.
    • Gather and analyze data on processes: This could involve collecting data from dashboards and reports, performing basic analysis, and identifying potential areas for improvement.
    • Support with troubleshooting and problem-solving during production runs: This may involve assisting with identifying process issues, proposing solutions, and collaborating with technicians to optimize production efficiency.
    • Perform functional testing equipment to obtain data for validation or product release.
    • Audit Lot Record Packages to ensure adherence to Data Integrity Principles.
    • Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols as outlined by the company: This includes following proper personal protective equipment (PPE) guidelines, practicing safe work habits, and reporting any safety concerns.
    • Demonstrate a strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

    Position Requirements:

    • Student working towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or technology related field
    • Candidates preferred to have completed their second year of engineering studies and entering Junior or Senior year
    • High problem-solving skills and self-direction
    • Ability to work in a team or individual contributor

    Preferred Experience, Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

    • Familiarity with manufacturing and/or plastic injection molding
    • Mechanical aptitude for machines and equipment
    • Technical hands-on experience with Microsoft Office products: Basic knowledge of Excel and/or Power BI

    POSITION RANGE: $20.00- $24.00 USD Hourly (This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.)
