PAY IS DEPENDENT ON LEVEL OF EXPERIENCE

PRIOR EXPERIENCE IN A CNC MACHINE SHOP IS REQUIRED

Purchasing Specialist with knowledge of CNC Machining, materials, tooling, and hardware.

Quote and create purchase orders for raw materials, hardware, and tooling

Quote and coordinate outside processes with our vendors (ex: plating, painting, and other chem processes, etc.)

Understand and communicate specifications to vendors

Interpret drawings, identify processes and understand the general scope of work

Create travelers, release, schedule, and coordinate jobs

Ensure product quality requirements are met

Create non-conformance paperwork

File, organize, and upload documents associated with purchasing such as certificates and data packages

Ability to multitask and interact with multiple departments

Support/Aid Shipping & Receiving, as well as the quality department, with the following tasks:

Schedule shipments, pickups, or coordinate deliveries with our driver

Receive orders as they come in.

Quality check

Assist other employees with placing orders for materials, tools, and supplies

You should be proficient in:

• GD&T
• Blueprint Reading
• Quality Inspection Experience
• ISO 9001 Certification Experience
• Scheduling Experience
• Quality Control Data Analysis
• Budgeting / Forecasting Experience
• Excellent Communication Skills
• Experience in a Manufacturing Environment

Machines & technologies you'll use:

• CNC Mill (3-4 axis VMC)
• CNC Lathe (2-4 axis) (Haas)

SALARY INFO:

$42 - $47 / HR
