    Resin Systems is a manufacturer of custom thermoset resin castings utilizing epoxy, urethane and silicone materials designed for highly dependable performance in hundreds of demanding applications and environments. Resin Systems creates components for a wide range of industries including Semiconductor, RF Microwave and Medical.

    Resin Systems is looking to hire a Quality Control Supervisor. In this role, you will be the hands-on working leader of the quality control inspection group, providing technical support, overseeing the activities, scheduling inspectors and performing mechanical dimensional inspections and FAIs.

    Supervisor Primary responsibilities:

    Schedule and supervise team in day-to-day tasks performed by inspection.

    Plans and directs inspection activities, by establishing priorities and inspection requirements for products to ensure quality of products meets specification.

    Provide technical support and training for all quality control activities including inspection, calibration and certification.

    Ensure that overall quality and productivity goals are met.

    Manage multiple priorities across tight timelines by maneuvering the workforce to meet demands.

    Quality Control responsibilities:

    · Perform 1st piece, in process, and final mechanical dimensional inspections as well as cosmetic rework of manufactured parts to ensure conformance to design requirements and disposition non-conforming parts. Inspections could include:

    · Dimensional inspection using various inspection methods and hand gages such as calipers, pins, height gages, optical comparator, etc.

    · Visual inspection

    · Testing

    · Reviewing documentation for completeness and accuracy

    · Prepare and generate First Article Inspection Reports as required.

    · Generate certs and inspection data packs as required.

    · Coordinate and oversee source inspection as required.

    · Maintain and file quality records

    Quality Control Supervisor Qualification:

    3+ years of experience in a supervisory role in a manufacturing inspection environment preferred.

    2+ years of experience working with ISO9001 or similar quality management system preferred.

    Must be self-directed, have strong attention to detail, great communication skills and possess the capability to analyze information to improve processes and business outcomes.

    Demonstrated ability to make decisions, problem solve, prioritize assignments and direct the workforce in an ever-changing environment.

    Team building - this includes training and coaching team members along with driving camaraderie within the workplace.

    Resolve staffing issues related to performance, absence coverage, and/or safety.

    Flexible, ability to work in a fast pace constantly changing environment.

    Must be able to read and interpret blueprints to identify inspection and metrology requirements.

    Working knowledge of GD&T.

    Advanced knowledge of basic inspection techniques (calipers, micrometers, comparators, etc.).

    Experience working with and performing in-house calibration and maintaining calibration recall systems.

    Experience creating AS9102 FAIRs preferred
