JOB SUMMARY
The Quality/Environmental Management Representative is responsible for maintaining ISO certifications. The incumbent of this position holds both responsibilities and works with all departments in the business unit.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Administrator of the document control system -Master Control.
- Ensure personnel have knowledge required to use the system effectively.
- Send all documents needing publishing for approval.
- Administration of ISO 9001/14001: ensure the system is established, implemented and maintained in accordance with the standard and reports to top management on performance, including recommendations for improvement.
- Ensure compliance during both external and internal audits.
- Ensure corrective actions from audits are completed by responsible personnel promptly.
- Help drive the importance of ISO 9001/14001 out to the plant employees.
- Constant review our system to ensure it reflects our current practice.
EXPERIENCE
- 2-5 years of experience in a B2B logistics coordinator related role.
- Experience using ERP systems, MS Word, Excel and Outlook - Microsoft Axapta (AX) is a plus.
- Manufacturing experience required.
- Root cause analysis (CAPA, 8D, FMEA, 5 WHY’S) skills are required.
- Proven experience in cross-functional environments.
EDUCATION
- University Degree (B.S. in Systems Engineering preferred)
SKILLS AND COMPETENCES
- Strong working knowledge of MS Excel required.
- Interest in process understanding, improvement and analysis.
- Must have strong written and verbal skills; be well organized and capable of handling multiple assignments and possess attention to detail
- Must be intellectually curious and have the ability to learn quickly
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex legal and financial documents
- Ability to be able to communicate clearly and effectively to all employees, customers, and vendors
- Ability to be able to make effective persuasive presentations
