Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Manager to oversee warehouse operations and ensure all processes, products, and services meet organizational and customer quality standards. This role will lead quality initiatives, implement best practices, and work cross-functionally with operations, supply chain, and compliance teams to drive continuous improvement in warehouse performance.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems (QMS) for warehouse operations.
Conduct audits, inspections, and process reviews to ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements (e.g., OSHA, ISO, FDA, or other applicable).
Monitor incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy, condition, and adherence to quality standards.
Establish and track KPIs related to quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) processes for quality issues.
Train warehouse staff on quality procedures, product handling, documentation, and safety standards.
Collaborate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to resolve quality issues and improve supply chain reliability.
Maintain proper documentation for audits, inspections, and customer requirements.
Champion a culture of continuous improvement, driving lean practices and process optimization.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Quality Management, or a related field (preferred).
5+ years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or distribution center quality management.
Strong knowledge of quality systems, audits, and compliance frameworks.
Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP, and MS Office Suite.
Preferred Skills
Certification in quality management (ASQ CQE, CQM, or equivalent).
Experience with ISO 9001, GMP, or other relevant standards.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume distribution environment.
