    Job description Position Summary (will be assigned a territory in the Inland Empire) Our company is looking for an energetic, enthusiastic, driven, and self-motivated Outside Sales Representative. The ideal candidate would be charismatic with customer interactions and motivated to succeed and meet monthly goals. The successful candidate will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. You must be comfortable making dozens of in person meetings per day, working with channel partners, generating interest, qualifying prospects, and closing sales. This position will involve prospecting and bringing on new customers who are users of material handling products and equipment as well as providing customized warehouse system solutions. Our sales team offers a unique selling proposition, with nearly all services and products being sourced in house, our one stop shop approach enables our sales team to have an advantage against the competition. As a sales representative you will have the ability to sell a wide range of industrial products and services including, storage systems, pallet racking, shelving, mezzanines, rack installations, warehouse relocation, dock equipment, permit and engineering services. MUST have previous sales experience in industrial sales or business to business sales. Previous experience in the material handling industry is preferred. This position reports directly to the Vice President of Sales Primary Functions * Initiate direct contact with key material handling equipment and systems users * Traveling within an assigned sales territory to conduct face-to-face meetings with existing and potential customers * Build and sustain log-lasting relationships with new customers based within an assigned sales territory * Negotiate contracts with potential clients * Service new accounts by quoting and processing orders for fulfillment * Continually meeting or exceeding sales quotas by selling company products to new and existing customers * Provide same day follow-up on all company provided leads and client requests * Provide freight status, delivery times, and pricing support on equipment * Maintaining an accurate record of all leads, customer accounts and sales * Researching competitors' products and pricing as well as market conditions * Negotiate agreements and keep records of sales and data * Must be comfortable cold calling prospects and overcoming objections * Respond to all inquiries from users and suppliers in a timely manner * Inform each potential customer about the total depth of services provided by the company. * Follow up on all proposals. Be certain that any changes or revisions initiated by the customer are well documented * Manage daily efforts towards sales goal * Perform other duties as assigned by management Skills Required/Qualifications * 3 years+ sales in B2B sales, wholesale, or industrial sales * 1 - year relevant industry experience (preferred) * Work independently with minimal supervision * High school education (additional years of continuing education with an emphasis on sales and marketing is a plus) * Possess effective oral and excellent written communication skills * Strong technical and analytical skills * Developing and implementing an effective sales strategy to drive sales * Must be skilled in the organization and management of time, efforts, and resources * Able to work independently and provide superior customer service with a positive and friendly attitude. * The ideal candidate will be driven to succeed and have a strong desire to have completely satisfied customers * Exceptional problem-solving skills * Respond to complaints and resolve issues aiming to customer contentment and the preservation of QMH's reputation * Strong math and computation skills * Ability to listen and quickly resolve issues * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment * Computer skills - Microsoft Office programs, windows operating system.
