Quality Mechanical Engineer/ Inspector @ Detroit, MI (1099 Contractor)
Responsibilities:
Check for completeness
Verification against contractual requirements
Provides timely, detailed reports and photographic evidence as requested
The ideal would be to have 3 or 4 inspectors for this position, due to the number of jobs in the area.
High availability and flexible job scheduling
Technical & Industry Experience:
3–5 years of supplier audit experience in the automotive sector
Quality Certifications / Six Sigma
Measuring experience
Experience in quality inspections
Experience in manufacturing processes
Experience in data analysis
Must be able to use MS Word and Excel to submit documents and reports within the time specified (usually within 24 hours after job completion)
Ability to work well in independent and group problem-solving situations
Ability to maintain a positive, professional disposition when adapting to occasional disruptions and unexpected events
Flexibility in scheduling
