HCT seeks an experienced nursing professional to serve as the Interim Quality Patient Safety Program Manager for a 350+ bed hospital in Southern California. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Peer reviews for Cardiovascular, Medicine, and ED
- Sepsis Core Measures LA County SRC/STEMI abstractions and submissions
- Reviews and audits of Mortality, Code Blue, Cardiac Service line, and Critical Care cases/bundle compliance
- OPPE reappointment and contract performance evaluation data for the Medicine Department
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree preferred
- Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of risk management, patient safety, quality, compliance in an acute care setting; Minimum of five (5) years of experience managing/supervising employees and vendors
- Licensure: California RN license strongly preferred
- Certifications: BLS from the AHA required prior to start date if an RN
- Computer Skills: Cerner experience strongly preferred
