Technical Inside Sales Representative (Entry Level or Experienced)

We sell, service, rent and support all types of weighing equipment for over 1500 businesses in California and Nevada. Examples include vehicle scales, platform scales, hopper scales, benchtop scales, laboratory balances, and conveyor scales. To support continued growth, we are seeking a Technical Inside Sales Representative, either entry level or experienced. If you do not have experience in the scale industry, it is not a problem. If you have some electrical or mechanical aptitude, enjoy solving problems, have a willingness to learn, and possess a positive attitude, we can provide training specific to the scale industry.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
· Work with customers to identify solutions that are best for them, representing QSU with the highest integrity
· Work independently and with others to develop and deliver quotes
· Work with service department to plan for approved quoted work
· Manage quote database and related sales proposals
· Order parts and equipment
· Build customer and vendor relationships to earn their trust
· Perform marketing activities including qualifying leads, preparing for events or trade shows
WHO YOU ARE:
· Bachelor’s degree, 2-year technical degree, or 2-3 years of customer facing experience preferred
· Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and with a team
· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
· Ability to quickly grasp technical concepts and express them in clear language
· High attention to detail
· Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
· Proficiency in the use of computers and Microsoft Office software
· Class C driver’s license with good driving record
· Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening, a background check and DMV driving record check
HOURS:
· Monday to Friday; 7am to 4pm
SALARY:
· $18-26/hour
