Job Description

A major multidisciplinary, well established consulting engineering firm is seeking for an experienced Associate Land Development Engineer able to analyze data to plan and design projects. Ideal candidate should have a minimum 4-7 years of relevant working experience with strong interest in all phases of Civil Engineering and willingness to work a wide range of projects with multiple project managers.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Analyze data to plan and design projects
• Prepare and submit permits to comply with Federal, State, and Local regulations
• Prepare base files, plan exhibits, construction documentation and detailed design drawings for an array of land development and civil engineering projects
• Prepare designs from general instruction and preliminary sketches, diagrams, or schematic
• Prepare working drawings from conceptual plans, to entitlement documents, planning documents, through final engineering construction documents and construction record drawings

REQUIREMENTS:

• Required Education: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
• Required years of relevant work experience: 4-7 years
• Experience and demonstrated ability with current versions of AutoCAD and using the Civil 3D package to create surfaces, alignments, and profiles
• Strong interest in all phases of Civil Engineering including land development, utilities, water resources, and construction
• Willingness to assist with a wide range of projects and work with multiple project managers
