    Wipro Givon USA has an exciting new opportunity for a Quality Supervisor to join our team. This position leads the project management of long-term Quality projects and improvements, assists in the response to customer audits and corrective action requests, and acts as a technical resource for the Quality inspection team.

    JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES - What will you do daily:

    · Participates in Continuous Improvement Projects and Material Review Board activities in cooperation with the quality manager, plant managers, customer service, program managers or production supervisors to maximize product reliability and minimize costs.

    · Participant in Kaizens (sporadically)

    · Participant in the Weekly Material Review Boards (brought the rejections to the table to discuss with the group)

    · Helping move everyday non-conforming product

    · Assigned QA Inspectors to appropriate jobs

    · Bring QA issues to the appropriate person

    · Supervises employees engaged in inspection and testing activities to ensure continuous control over materials, facilities, and products.

    · Daily communication with the QA Inspector Leads to facilitate daily operations

    · Assists in scheduling and conducting periodic audits of manufacturing processes to ensure all quality standards are fully documented and implemented.

    · Helps to identify and schedule appropriate education and training requirements for QA Department Personnel.

    · Serves as a liaison with customers to ensure that the customers’ quality standards are supported.

    · Helps to investigates all customer complaints regarding quality and coordinates appropriate actions to prevent further occurrences.

    · Maintain quality records and documents as required by contract or internal procedures. (nothing specific).

    · Responsible for supporting an ensuring compliance to ISO 9001/AS9100 Quality Management Systems along with customer specific quality programs and processing requirements.

    · Making sure everyone is doing their work

    · Supplier Source Delegation Audit Log

    · Complies with all company rules, policies, and procedures. Works and behaves safely by following all safety rules and regulations.

    · Performs any task required to support customer requirements and company goals.

    · Timekeeping - Approve QA Inspector payroll

    Abilities - Are you a good fit:

    · Ability to read, analyze, and interpret, common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.

    · Ability to determine inspection criteria from a blueprint and use inspection tools and gauges to take measurements

    · Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.

    · Ability to effectively present information to management, customers, and employee groups.

    · Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract variables.

    · The ability to sit or stand for at least 10 hours a day.

    · Technical Degree in an Engineering, Quality or Aerospace related field and five years experience in ISO-related quality control systems, including advanced quality systems (AQS) or a combination of education and experience.

    · 2 years of supervisory experience.

    · Strong computer skills required.

    · Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

    · The ability to sit or stand for at least 8 hours a day.

    · The ability to occasionally required to walk; and stoop, crouch, or crawl.

    · The ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

    · Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
