    JOB SUMMARY:

    This is an entry-level role focused on the precision marking and identification of our products. You will be responsible for operating our laser engraving equipment and industrial label printers to ensure every component is accurately identified and ready for assembly.

    ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    · Electronic Filing: Scan, rename, and organize hard-copy quality checklists, inspection records, and job drawings into the correct digital project folders.

    · Media Management: Review and sort production photos taken by inspectors, ensuring they are moved to the appropriate project directories.

    · Archive Maintenance: Manage the digital archive system for all hard-copy quality records.

    · Machine Operation: Set up and operate laser engraving equipment to mark metal and plastic components according to specifications.

    · Label Production: Utilize industrial printers to create high-quality wiring and identification labels for various projects.

    · Quality Inspection: Verify that all finished engravings and labels meet company standards for clarity, accuracy, and adherence to technical drawings.

    · Material Prep: Organize and prep parts for marking to ensure that correct identification stays with the corresponding project.

    · Equipment Care: Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance on office scanners, laser engravers, and industrial printers.

    · Inventory Assistance: Support cycle counts, physical inventory execution, and usage analysis as needed.

    · Cross-Functional Support: Assist the broader Quality and Production teams with shop tasks, material handling, and verbal/written instruction dissemination.

    · Other Duties: Carry out other duties as directed by the Quality Manager.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    · General computer knowledge required

    · Ability to work cooperatively with supervisors and coworkers

    · Ability to understand and follow complex oral and written instructions

    · Ability to perform responsibilities without the necessity of close supervision

    · Ability to effectively communicate

    · Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

    · Ability to meet attendance standards and work the hours necessary to perform essential job functions

    Work Experience:

    · 1 year of manufacturing/production or relevant experience.

    Education:

    · High school diploma or equivalent required

    WORK ENVIRONMENT:

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee sometimes works near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to excessive noise, extreme heat, extreme cold, and heights. When participating in activities on the shop floor, the noise level in the work environment is typical for a fabrication shop and ear plugs may be used as necessary.
