    Position: Finance Coordinator

    Department : Finance & Administration

    Business Group:

    Reports to: Director of Finance & Administration

    Education:

    Bachelor of Science or Arts from accredited college preferred. Minimum of a high school diploma with up to two years of college study and general accounting and bookkeeping

    Experience:

    Minimum two years office in A/R and A/P experience is preferred.

    Requires strong organizational skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite, especially with an aptitude with Excel. Good math aptitude. QuickBooks knowledge preferred. Attention to detail.

    Demonstrated work ethic: commitment to quality work, self-starter, self-disciplined, and flexible. Good interpersonal skills. Results oriented and a good understanding in corporate profit and growth.

    Specific Duties and Expectations

    • Respond to day-to-day needs of Finance & Administration Department, and the overall efforts of the general office functions.
    • · Protect operational integrity by keeping financial information confidential.
    • · Strengthen team performance by contributing insights and voicing opinions within our group and the company to accomplish our goals.

    Invoicing -

    • Prepare the invoice detail to be emailed and properly distributed to customers in a timely manner for company receivable process.
    • Prepare invoice in Quick Books

    Reports – Prepare monthly reports for management

    • Monthly Invoicing Summary, Volume Charts,Volume Breakdowns, etc.
    • Assist with determining costs of operations and researching relative data.
    • Assist with comparing and analyzing actual financial results.

    Receivables -

    • Post EFTs and checks daily, prepare deposit and take to bank if needed.
    • Maintain deposit records.
    • Maintain collection of past-due accounts: Sending reminders and keeping current with outstanding receivables

    Finance/Payables

    • Review contracts when new accounts start up. A/P invoices daily in QuickBooks as needed
    • Vendor Repair bills once payment has been made.
    • Mail A/P checks; file invoices

    Administrative

    • Assist in phone coverage for the company main/direct line and to Admin/Finance Dept

    Job Type: Full-time

    Salary: From $20.00 per hour

    • No weekends

    Ability to commute/relocate:

    • Mechanicsville, VA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
