Quandary Consultants LLC (Quandary) is seeking an experienced, knowledgeable Human Resources Generalist to join our growing team of diverse professionals. Quandary is a full-service environmental and regulatory consulting firm based in Denver, Colorado. Founded in 2016 Quandary has quickly become a top choice for clients in the construction, oil & gas, renewable energy, electric utility, and government sectors.
The ideal candidate would have a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business Administration and 2+ years’ experience as an HR generalist with a focus on administration and employment law compliance
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Working knowledge of multi-state payroll and benefits
Technically proficient with modern office tools and productivity apps, including QBO payroll as well as B2G ( LCP tracker)
A confident communicator with the ability to deliver useful documentation and information that is appropriate for the target audience
Strong work ethic and ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
You truly enjoy working with people and play well as a member of the team
Improvement mindset – continuously seeking ways to drive innovation and efficiencies throughout the organization
Valid driver’s license, able to pass a background check, and pre-employment drug test
JOB DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:
Offer support and guidance to team members to ensure positive culture is maintained
Assist in recruiting efforts alongside owners, onboard new team members, and work to ensure proper standards in accordance with HR methodologies and labor laws
Ensure employees follow all policies and procedures
Write, oversee, and advise changes in policies and procedures.
Research compensation standards set by industry and assist in creation of salary structures
Work to enroll, adjust, and oversee employee benefits for all team members
Develop training materials and performance management programs to help ensure employees understand their job responsibilities
Ensure the organization’s compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
Build performance management tools to provide guidance for feedback and compensation strategies
Build and maintain HR systems and processes
Maintaining compliance with all applicable laws and regulations for instate and remote employees
Managing benefits programs and keeping up to date with trends in the workplace

Quandary provides a comprehensive suite of benefits including paid time off, 401(k) match, and health care options. Expected Salary: $65,000 to 75,000 based on experience and qualifications.
