In March 2016, Quantexa was founded by a team with decades of experience in software, data and advanced analytics. We knew the opportunity was big; every business with data at its core can benefit from what were doing, so we hit the ground hard, pioneering a contextual approach.
In just over four years, weve grown from a few desks huddled in the corner of a shared space to having over 300+ staff worldwide! Having just completed our Series C funding round, attracting more than $90m in investment, we are now in a scale up phase.
We are expanding our project delivery teams rapidly as clients adopt our technology across the financial crime and customer lifecycle management domains. In support of this expansion we are seeking a Programme Manager to join our talented team!
Our strategy is to build a global delivery capability capable of matching the client demand for our skills and services. Projects may be delivered in house, through our partner network and through customer staff, and our Portfolio Managers will need to understand and support delivery through these routes.
Our delivery projects all follow agile principles and structure. Our project structure is flexible around the individuals and the roles they play, but we typically expect project managers to play an active role in scrum and backlog management. Key to this is providing the necessary level of support to our technical experts to allow them to achieve complex technical deliveries.
As our projects increase in size and complexity we are adopting "agile at scale" methodology to co-ordinate and describe the interactions between multiple scrum teams and to manage the overarching delivery and release plan across multiple stakeholders.
REQUIREMENTS
Key responsibilities include
Run a portfolio of projects to one or more global clients
Manage one or more project managers, each running one or more projects
Maintain a hands-on role, possibly managing one project within the portfolio
Be the primary point of contact with client for project delivery, managing the client relationship and commercials in this respect
Prepare or review statements of work and other commercial documentation
With the client develop and own the overall release plan and how that maps to stakeholder needs and into our scrum team(s) backlogs and delivery
With the client develop a plan and then support the client in transition to self-sufficiency or partner led delivery
Manage client and partner staff on project, including (as agreed) transition to client or partner led project delivery
Forecast resource demand from client projects
Work with sales teams to identify future opportunities and to plan delivery projects and resource demands in line with these opportunities
Work with other delivery managers, project managers and technical leaders to identify and implement delivery improvements to improve project efficiency repeatability
With architects and tech leaders, identify areas of project delivery where further product development will deliver improvements and represent such feedback to the R&D function
Take responsibility for all project staff on your team ensuring team morale, role alignment with career aspirations, coaching and performance feedback
Work with senior client leadership to understand their future needs and demands from our technology and represent such feedback to the R&D function
