    Pedago is hiring a creative Digital Strategist who specializes in paid social media. This candidate will be responsible for the ideation and execution of on-brand, on-strategy ad creative for paid media campaigns within Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube. You will work closely with the brand and marketing Director to develop creative briefs, manage freelancers, and collaborate with our analyst to assess ad creative ROI, and gather actionable insights so that we are continuously optimizing creative performance and brand perception. Youll understand the nuances of various digital and social platforms, and the accompanying audience mindset that comes with each. The ideal candidate will have a strategic background, a flair for creativity, and a knack for uncovering creative insights that unlock new ideas and concepts.

    The right candidate will enjoy a fast-paced startup environment, have an upbeat, worldly mindset, a mission-oriented sense of purpose, and the ability to drive growth by balancing metrics with creativity, and strong business intuition. You will have superior writing skills, ability to (quickly) generate creative ideas, a keen understanding of paid media marketing and platform dynamics, and possess an always-be-testing mentality.

    Due to current COVID-19 restrictions, this is a remote position. However, the ideal candidate will be able to periodically travel to DC and work from the office as needed.

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Develop campaignable, paid media ad creative that works across multiple social platforms, with an emphasis on LinkedIn and Facebook.
    • Assist in development of creative briefs for agency partners
    • Manage external creative teams, with ability to give clear and direct feedback and hold teams accountable to deadlines and budgets
    • Create channel-specific strategic frameworks for launching, running, and optimizing creative campaigns
    • Collaborate with internal data analyst to continually refine ad creative and optimize performance to lower acquisition costs and improve return on ad spend (ROAS)
    • Work closely with other teams to gather insights and data to inform strategies and creative concepts
    • Stay up to date on latest paid social trends and best practices
    • Represent our vision and disruptive value proposition as we grow the brand and revolutionize the world of higher education

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Pedago requires a background check.
    • Bachelors Degree
    • 4+ years of experience as a digital strategist, social strategist (paid media), or a digital-focused creative
    • Familiarity with project management duties: scheduling, managing creative teams, etc.
    • Effective time management and organization skills
