Fire Support Cell Indirect Fire Specialist (PTOC)
Job Description
GENERAL SUMMARY OF JOB DUTIES: Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Must be able to travel unaccompanied to continental US and foreign locations. Will be subject to random drug screening.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Receive record and execute all Indirect Fire mission data using graphic user interfaces (GUIs) on a “Windows” based computer system. Act as the interface between the Fire Support system and the Fire Markers in the field. Must be able to maintain detailed records of all data. Must possess the ability to communicate over assigned radio using proper military communications procedures. Must be able to work alternating 12 hour shifts which include nights and weekends during training rotations.
Qualifications
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma. Required Experience: High School Diploma. Desired Experience: Familiar with Microsoft Office PowerPoint and possess typing skills. Possess a current government clearance of secret or higher. Security Clearance: Active Secret clearance required. Familiar with Microsoft Office PowerPoint and possess typing skills.
