    The Business Development Trainer is responsible for facilitating sales skills programs in-person and virtually, ensuring learning transfer occurs through post-work and coaching, and assisting in needs assessment, design, development and evaluation of learning programs. ESSENTIAL DUTIES

    • Aid in the creation, development, and execution of sales training materials, training schedules, and training curriculum.
    • Coordinate and deliver training courses in accordance with identified needs.
    • Aid in development and then implement multiple avenues of training delivery including in-person, video, web-based, self-guided and virtual programs.
    • Gather, review and analyze course evaluations to determine effectiveness of sales training sessions. Recommend and implement approved revisions to course materials as necessary to improve training effectiveness.
    • Monitor sales calls, then coach staff on improving areas of opportunity.
    • Track the progression of and coach new Account Representatives and new Account Executives throughout the training period.
    • Provide support through the development and implementation of individual coaching calls and/or one-on-one training.

    REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE

    • Experienced in the training and facilitation of Sales methodologies and practices
    • Ability to manage a classroom environment
    • Virtual training platforms & techniques to increase engagement with virtual participants
    • Ability to facilitate workshops while increasing participant learning
    • Encouraging to team and staff; able to mentor others
    • Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
    • Knowledge of the payments processing industry a plus

    BASIC KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

    • Ability to effectively present information in a clear manner
    • Ability to demonstrate procedures and respond to questions
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Computer and internet skills, specifically LMS
    • Organizational skills
    • Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities in a timely manner
    • Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality in handling employee information
