    ROLE MISSION

You are responsible for turning ideas into physical reality.

Your job is to build, assemble, install, and maintain the Quantum Space Node Lite™ (QSN-L)—a next-generation intelligent parking space system that blends hardware, sensors, lighting, and edge computing into a single deployable unit.

You will be the person who ensures that when we say “this node works in the real world,” it actually does—rain, heat, traffic, vibration, and all.

This role is ideal for someone who:

    · loves working with their hands

    · enjoys problem-solving in the field

    · takes pride in clean, professional installs

    · wants to help invent a new category of infrastructure

    CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

    1. Hardware Assembly & Prototyping

    · Assemble QSN-L nodes from components:

    o Raspberry Pi / microcontrollers

    o cameras

    o LED strips & diffusers

    o pressure/force sensors

    o air & environmental sensors

    o enclosures and wiring

    · Perform basic soldering, crimping, and cable management.

    · Build clean, repeatable assemblies that can be documented and scaled.

    1. Field Installation

    · Install QSN-L nodes in real parking spaces:

    o mount enclosures

o lay and encapsulate pressure strips

o install LED strips and Ghost Panel™

    o route and protect wiring

    · Ensure all installs are:

    o safe

    o weather-resistant

    o visually clean

o non-intrusive to drivers and pedestrians

    1. Power, Mounting & Safety

    · Work with low-voltage power systems (5V–12V DC).

    · Coordinate with licensed electricians when 120V work is required.

    · Ensure compliance with basic site safety and ADA awareness.

    · Proactively identify and eliminate trip hazards or failure points.

    1. Testing & Commissioning

    · Perform on-site testing:

    o pressure detection

    o LED behavior

    o camera alignment

    o enclosure sealing

    · Troubleshoot physical issues quickly and creatively.

    · Sign off on each node before it goes “live.”

    1. Maintenance & Iteration

    · Perform periodic inspections and maintenance.

    · Replace or repair damaged components.

    · Provide feedback to the team on:

    o what breaks

    o what installs slowly

o what could be simplified or improved

    SKILLS & BACKGROUND

    Required (or equivalent hands-on experience):

    · Comfortable with tools (drill, drivers, wire strippers, soldering iron).

    · Basic understanding of electronics and wiring.

    · Experience with:

o Raspberry Pi, Arduino, ESP32, or similar

    o LED lighting systems

    · Ability to read wiring diagrams and follow SOPs.

    · Physically able to work outdoors and on job sites.

    Nice to Have (not required):

    · Low-voltage electrical experience.

    · IoT or smart device installation experience.

    · Fabrication or 3D printing exposure.

    · Construction, AV, or field technician background.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE (FIRST 90 DAYS)

    · You help build and install the first fully working QSN-L prototype.

    · You can independently install a node in under 2 hours.

    · You contribute to a clean, repeatable installation SOP.

    · You proactively suggest improvements to reduce install time or cost.

    GROWTH PATH

    This role can grow into:

    · Lead Field Engineer

    · Hardware Systems Manager

    · Deployment Team Lead

You will be building the physical foundation of a scalable infrastructure platform.
